Doors

081 - We're opening all the doors and letting the room air out after watching this Sci-Fi anthology about alien doors. The crazy part? They kind of look like walls, but act like doorways or walkways into who knows what!? It's like the movie didn't want us to know, so mysterious, like a new kid in a leather jacket or some shit, but then you catch him humming Pokémon in the bathroom while peeing. Anyway, you may have noticed that we're being pretty vague on the description of Doors... so yeah try to make it through with us.

Come True

080 - Dream... it's missing a word... probably. On this episode of Let’s Movie we're breaking down Anthony Scott Bruns' Horror/Sci-fi flick Come True. Which is just a big ole love note to other Horror/Sci-fi movies of a particular era. Head on down to the Future Store and put this episode on a cassette so you blast it loud in the driveway while sitting in your mom's Oldsmobile.

Cosmic Sin

078 - We're back with another Thriller/ Action / Sci-Fi film which could be our forte, but definitely isn't the forte of the writer/director of Cosmic Sin. Do you enjoy Bruce Willis? 073 - Tenet spelled backwards is Tenet, get it? What a long movie huh? What's with these name brand directors and their inability to produce a movie under two hours? By no means am I saying that you can skip the first forty-five minutes of this movie and be perfectly fine watching the rest of it, but the exposition dumps that act as the narrative will likely clue you into those missing minutes.

Strange Days

065 - We're back to indie movies produced by no less fifteen companies. That's right, no wannabe summer blockbusters for us! Nope, instead we're going to go to high concept, low execution with beautiful, beautiful blood.

The Platform

058 - If we had a to pick a movie that represented 2020... this might be as close as we can get! It's depressing as all hell. There's subtext to the subtext and naked yoga between two cellmates. It's also in Spanish unless you mess up and choose the dub version, but we're #subs around here. Check it out on Netflix before listening if you don't want the entire movie spoiled for you.

It's the third installment of Bill & Ted, first they were excellent, then bogus... now they're faces or something. Anyway, we keep it under three goddamn hours on this episode of Us Versus Movies, but hopefully you're just here to see if it's worth watching or not and we will answer those questions several times on this episode.
