Lionsgate Teams with Double Take for Film Adaptation of Z-Men

Lionsgate (NYSE: LGF), a premier next generation global content leader, is teaming with comic book publisher Double Take (2T), a subsidiary of leading video game developer and publisher Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), for the film adaptation of the graphic novel Z-Men, the two companies announced today. Written by preeminent zombie creator Jeff McComsey, Z-Men is the flagship title in Double Take’s recently launched universe surrounding the classic horror franchise Night of the Living Dead.

NYCC 15: DARK HORSE DELUXE REVEALS NEW CHARACTER IN LINE OF “GAME OF THRONES” FIGURES

Dark Horse Deluxe, an imprint of Dark Horse Comics, has revealed the latest figure in an ongoing series of characters from the critically acclaimed HBO® series Game of Thrones®—Varys. Varys will be the twenty-third figure in the series and is slated for in-store release in April of 2016, just in time for the launch of season 6 of Game of Thrones.

A member of the Small Council, Varys is known as the Master of Whisperers. He has an army of “Little Birds” that keep him well informed of all matters pertaining to the realm. Dark Horse captures the slyness of Varys in the detailed plastic prepainted figure, which measures 8.25 inches in height and comes in collector window box display packaging.

Prince Oberyn Martell, also known as the Red Viper of Dorne, is a noteworthy character. His battle with Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane is one of the more exciting moments in the series.

Phantom of the Kill Makes US Debut at New York Comic Con

Gumi Inc. has just announced their New York Comic Con 2015 presence showcasing the hotly anticipated Japanese RPG Phantom of the Kill. SUNRISE INC. TO SIMULCAST IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS AND STREAM GUNDAM RECONGUISTA IN G

Sunrise Inc., a leading Japanese animation production studio, announced today the simulcast streaming of MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM Iron-Blooded Orphans on Daisuki.net and on Hulu, as well as Gundam Info for the North American territory starting October 4 (Sun), 2015 at 3:30AM (Pacific), only two-hours after the Japanese broadcast. One week after its original premiere, the episodes will be made available for free on various other streaming platforms including Crunchyroll and FUNimation. MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM Iron-Blooded Orphans will also be made available in various other territories worldwide as well. Iron-Blooded Orphans, the latest installment in the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise, tells the story of Mikazuki Augus, who works for the private security firm Chryse Guard Security (CGS). CGS accepts a mission to escort Kudelia Aina Bernstein, a girl who seeks to liberate the Martian city of Chryse from the rule of one of Earth's major powers. However, the military organization Gjallarhorn attacks CGS in order to stop this rebellion. CGS begins an evacuation, using Mikazuki and the other children as decoys. VIZ MEDIA RELEASES FINAL RANMA 1/2 HOME MEDIA INSTALLMENT

VIZ Media, LLC (VIZ Media), the largest publisher, distributor and licensor of anime and manga in North America, prepares fans for the final home media installment of the celebrated gender-bending martial arts action comedy based on the popular manga series created by Rumiko Takahashi as it announces the release today of RANMA ½ Set 7. VIZ Media has released the entire gender-bending martial arts action comedy in its original Japanese series order across seven Limited Edition Blu-ray and Standard Edition DVD Box Sets.
