Monster & Wine: Episode 58 - Halloween!

Well, what do you know? The Halloween episode of M&W just so happens to land on Halloween. It was meant to be. Monster kicks things off with his personal review for a new frozen-section pizza called, "Screaming Sicilian." Wine then goes into the fact that women soccer players aren't getting paid anywhere near what the men are getting, and how a certain Senator isn't doing the ladies any favors. After sighing over American Horror Story: Hotel, Monster goes down a list of recently watched films, and boy are there a lot of rants. Various fun facts about Halloween are sprinkled throughout the episode with a few wacky news tales to wrap things up.

Monster & Wine: Episode 57 - In A Galaxy Far, Far Away...

The 3rd and final Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer has indeed dropped (that's what the kids say these days isn't it?) and M&W discuss it as well as the Star Wars franchise in general. They also talk about some school killings that took place in Sweden recently, and notice the word "killings" as opposed to the word "shooting" that you're all too used to at this point? That point is addressed as well. Monster talks about his new found love for Rick And Morty on Adult Swim and follows that up with a fairly large The Walking Dead rant. This week provides a ton of wacky news; ranging from nutty, stopping at strange and eventually going down some very dark roads.

Monster & Wine: Episode 56 - Asspocalypse

Can you imagine this episode would start off talking about Lamar Odom of all people? Well, maybe you could. Beware the herbal Viagra people. Talk of sports and the LA Dodgers leads M&W into "gotcha" journalism and how it has become the norm. Game talk is back, with Monster oozing with excitement over the just-announced Friday the 13th: the Video Game and it's Kickstarter campaign. Monster gets his rant on about the mediocrity that is American Horror Story: Hotel (thus far anyway), and pours favorable words over Daredevil on Netflix, while Wine proclaims that Scream Queens is frighteningly good fun. Monster asks Wine some thought-provoking questions in a segment with a very heavy "Inside the Actors Studio" vibe and tons of wacky news wraps up this episode.

Monster & Wine: Episode 55 - Rant-o-Rama!

Is it hot in here or is it just us? Americans can't stop shooting each other and M&W discuss the shooting at Northern Arizona University and one just outside of Texas Southern University. Fun! (that's sarcasm people) Monster then gets the excitement going by giving his thoughts on Star Wars: Battlefront beta on PS4, but then gets really angry talking about Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. That heated rant leads Wine into one of her own, thanks to Fox Sports and their lack of HD. The rant back-and-forth includes Heroes: Reborn and the USA vs Mexico soccer game. After the dust has settled, Monster reviews American Horror Story: Hotel and wacky news gets weird and a little bit creepy.

Monster & Wine: Episode 54 - A Chill In The Air

Welcome to October and for most of us, Fall! The cool crisp autumn air brings comedy with it, in form of M&W! Monster revels in the changes of the leaves and recommends one of his favorite movies for all you dear listeners. Of course, the tragedy at Umpqua CC in Oregon is discussed and neither M nor W have any answers. Wine recounts a tale in which she shared the feels with her brother via a mysterious text. Monster then runs down various TV shows and video games he's excited about. Lastly, the two discuss just why it is that punk ends up becoming pop.

Monster & Wine: Episode 53 - I Feel Your Solid Phantom Pain

No one can really recall how it happened, but Monster & Wine find themselves recounting the time they spent working in porn shops. Monster, then gets sidetracked by a pumpkin spice cupcake which leads to a bit of a Little Debbie/Hostess battle discussion. Wine has a new tale regarding the Metal Man, a recurring character on the show and in her life. The two then discuss FIFA 16 and Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, with Monster recently obtaining the former and the latter just looking insane to our hosts. Then we have the return-of-fall-TV discussion with the duo trading off on shows they're excited about and shows they watched. Wacky News tops off this comedic sundae.

Monster & Wine: Episode 52 - Let's Get Gnar

Somebody must have been hungry, because this episode kicks off with plenty of food talk. Cookies, energy drinks, scones and food that probably shouldn't have been consumed are all on tap and hey, it's fall, so Monster is reveling in pumpkin spice mania. He then gives listeners an update on Until Dawn for PS4, having now completed it. The duo discuss the government's decision to stop federal funding for Planned Parenthood and Wine tells it like it is. Monster introduces the, "What Would You Do?" game to Wine and asks her to play guinea pig. Join in dear listener! A return to wacky news rounds out this weeks episode.

Monster & Wine: Episode 51 - People Are The Worst

M&W, in this weeks episode, discuss various reasons as to why people can, in fact, be the worst. Whether it be texting while driving, dying their hair with period blood (I both promise and apologize that this is a real thing), or just being responsible for the horror that was 9/11, the duo are sure you'll find your own reasons to be displeased with humanity. Monster gives his review of the PlayStation 4 exclusive title, "Until Dawn" and Wine recounts a run-in, literally, that she had with some raccoons in the wee hours of the morning. McDonald's all-day breakfast and 14 pop-culture masterpieces that apparently we should know about are also discussed.

Monster & Wine: Episode 50 - The Labor Day Show

This show is all about Labor Day, with M&W paying their respects to this most laborious of days. Just kidding, it has almost nothing to do Labor Day. It does, however, have a lot to do with Monster's week off of work and the weird,somewhat mid-west-white-guy situations he got himself in. The duo run down a list of discontinued 90's snacks which were, oddly enough, not surprisingly discontinued. Monster reads an article on his man/crush/idol Tom Delonge and gives a quick review of Horrible Bosses 2. Wine wonders wtf is up with the Germany soccer kit and it's missing FIFA badge. Justin Bieber's new song is quickly evaluated and a wacky tale about a big dong closes things out.

Monster & Wine: Episode 49 - Summer Premiere

Welcome back kiddies! M&W start their new season in a big way. Wine is back from her annual family vacation and recounts a little bit of the action that took place. This leads into a discussion about movies, in which Wine saw her fair share on her break. "Straight Outta Compton" is brought up and this turns into a discussion about the state of hip-hop. Monster then gives a mini-review for the new Cameron Crowe film, "Aloha." Oh, and Monster finally got his new PC that he's been promising for God knows how many episodes. The duo discuss the murder of the two WDBJ reporters in Virginia. New songs that M&W love and wacky news round-out this action-pack premiere episode!

Monster & Wine: Episode 48 - Summer Finale

Are you down in the dumps, thinking your life is pretty crappy and need something to perk you up? Well, you've taken a step in the right direction just by listening to M&W, but you really should be watching the 2015 Special Olympics. These athletes really put things into perspective and your favorite duo discuss. Monster gives a R.I.P. shout-out to the wrestling legend, Rowdy Roddy Piper. He then goes into a rant about people wearing glasses when they don't need them. The Straight Outta Compton biopic has Monster & Wine pumped up. The dream team discuss McDonald's so-called, "secret menu" and find out it's not all it's been portrayed to be. A different take on weird and wacky news wraps up this season finale. Monster & Wine: Episode 47 - This Is Our Seventies

High energy is the name of the game in this weeks episode! Wine recounts a tale about her brother and his recent rude awakening. A big crash, boxers, and an Escalade are all a part of the story. Monster tries to contact some of the parents of his former students in Japan and his mail gets rejected. The duo express their excitement over the new Chuck All-Stars set to be released this week. Monster goes on two rants in one episode. The first involving Wayward Pines and the second is all about cookies. Keeping things topical, the two discuss the recent shooting in a Louisiana movie theater but refusing to end on a downer, wacky news swoops in to leave you with a laugh.

Monster & Wine: Episode 46 - My Podcast Life

Summer is in full swing and Wine gets this party started with a tale of suspense involving a backpack, a flashing red light and an indistinguishable liquid. Monster mentions his new-found interest in TLC's, "My Giant Life" and the duo discuss a few of the big movie trailers that premiered at this years San Diego Comic-Con. It's been a while since we did "questions" so this time we have a hearty blend of, "would you rather..." and "thought-provoking" questions. Some are rather involved, others...not so much. Either way, you get a nice look into our frightening minds. A few wacky headlines round out this beefy episode of audible entertainment.

Monster & Wine: Episode 45 - 5 Dollar Footlong

The Women's World Cup has finally come to a close and M&W couldn't be happier with the result, even if they are in fact sad that the event is over. The final, as well as the the 3rd place match between Germany and England are discussed. Needless to say, it's good to be an American. The duo also do a fairly lengthy dissection of the 3rd season of, "Orange is the New Black." Monster finally saw some movies, not necessarily new, but new to him. Tons of wacky news is discussed and you better bring an extra tall glass of lemonade, because this puppy is coming in at over 2 hours! You're welcome.

Monster & Wine: Episode 44 - Star Spangled Fun

Happy 4th of July everyone! The timing worked out beautifully for Monster and Wine to bring you a new episode on this most glorious of days. Naturally, the Women's World Cup is discussed because two major games took place and boy were they chock full of drama! Being fans of the ol' non sequitur, the topic of movies is brought up, and more specifically, the rating system for movies in the USA and how it's basically broken. The duo discuss Donald Trump, his controversial comments on immigration and race relations in general. Wine brings us a couple of personal anecdotes and Monster reads some wacky headlines!

Monster & Wine: Episode 43 - One For The History Books

No silly goose, that title doesn't refer to this episode being particularly monumental. It has more to do with the fact that the U.S. Supreme court ruled that marriage equality is now a constitutional right. Now THAT is monumental. Your favorite duo discuss. Also on the agenda, Monster, die-hard Howard Stern fan that he is, realizes he's had plenty of time to form a list of grievances against his favorite radio personality. He still loves Howard though. M&W do a quick recap on the FIFA Women's World Cup, as well as their picks for the quarter-finals. It's almost over people! Sad face! Monster spouts out some wacky news to wrap things up.

Monster & Wine: Episode 42 - Here We Go Again

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out what the name of this episode is referring to. M&W can't help but address the elephant in the room and give their thoughts about the shooting in Charleston, South Carolina. However, all is not heavy as Monster talks about a video game remake and how his thoughts on it spawned a Facebook pissing contest. The gruesome twosome do a quick rundown of the Women's World Cup matches that took place within the last week and give their picks on who will win the round of 16. Wacky news from around the country bring things to a hilarious, yet quite disturbing, close.

Monster & Wine: Episode 41 - I Think I'm Black

The FIFA Women's World Cup is still going on strong and Monster and Wine do a quick recap of the matches and how well they did with their predictions. Monster gets nice and heated while recounting his tale of misery in dealing with U-haul and the profanity doth fly! Parents, lock your kids away for this one. Wine understands terrible customer service all-too-well and provides a tale of woe that shows up internet shopping still hasn't been perfected. Lastly, the duo converse about a women by the name of Rachel Dolezal who thinks she's black but might very well be white. Who are we to say? Gadzooks!

Monster & Wine: Episode 40 - You're A Champ

Monster and Wine are clearly champions in life, as are you dear listener. However, The duo have a lot to say about the USA Men's National soccer team and their exciting, and historic, victory over the Netherlands. That discussion leads nicely into the Women's 2015 World Cup, with M & W giving their predictions on who will win which match. Say that three times fast! TV shows are discussed; some old, some new, some good, some bad. Finally, with their fingers on the pulse of all things topical, you knew these two couldn't leave Caitlyn Jenner out of the mix.

Monster & Wine: Episode 39 - It's In The Game

Sports! Yes indeed, this time around Monster & Wine are talking about both the pitch and the court. The introduction of women's national teams in the upcoming FIFA 16 video game has people both incredibly stoked and peculiarly pissed off. M&W fall into the former category and discuss in depth. Monster takes a back seat and lets Wine do her thing by evaluating the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers going at it in the upcoming NBA Finals.
