That way if you have no desire to hear us talk about news or would rather just hear us talk about news there's an episode for that. Monster & Wine: Episode 45 - 5 Dollar Footlong

The Women's World Cup has finally come to a close and M&W couldn't be happier with the result, even if they are in fact sad that the event is over. The final, as well as the the 3rd place match between Germany and England are discussed. Needless to say, it's good to be an American. The duo also do a fairly lengthy dissection of the 3rd season of, "Orange is the New Black." Monster finally saw some movies, not necessarily new, but new to him. Tons of wacky news is discussed and you better bring an extra tall glass of lemonade, because this puppy is coming in at over 2 hours! You're welcome.

First off, sorry this was late! Holiday weekend and then that thing called life delayed what was otherwise an on time podcast! Happy 4th of July everyone! The timing worked out beautifully for Monster and Wine to bring you a new episode on this most glorious of days. Naturally, the Women's World Cup is discussed because two major games took place and boy were they chock full of drama! Being fans of the ol' non sequitur, the topic of movies is brought up, and more specifically, the rating system for movies in the USA and how it's basically broken. The duo discuss Donald Trump, his controversial comments on immigration and race relations in general. Wine brings us a couple of personal anecdotes and Monster reads some wacky headlines!

News is terrible today, by that I mean our picks to talk about so get a helmet on for this shit. Hulk's got a new book and it looks totally awesome right? RIGHT! No silly goose, that title doesn't refer to this episode being particularly monumental. It has more to do with the fact that the U.S. Supreme court ruled that marriage equality is now a constitutional right. Now THAT is monumental. Your favorite duo discuss. Also on the agenda, Monster, die-hard Howard Stern fan that he is, realizes he's had plenty of time to form a list of grievances against his favorite radio personality. He still loves Howard though. M&W do a quick recap on the FIFA Women's World Cup, as well as their picks for the quarter-finals. It's almost over people! Sad face! Monster spouts out some wacky news to wrap things up.

Exciting news today... we have a new ending! I know it's been forever and a day so I thought I would lead with that so that people would actually listen to the great work that Erin put into making it. For actual news covered on the episode we're back on the Fantastic Four train and it's stopping at the Denny's station... fun! Sony has some Spider-Demands and they reveal how Hollywood really runs and also how out of touch with society they are. The FIFA Women's World Cup is still going on strong and Monster and Wine do a quick recap of the matches and how well they did with their predictions. Wine understands terrible customer service all-too-well and provides a tale of woe that shows up internet shopping still hasn't been perfected. Monster takes a back seat and lets Wine do her thing by evaluating the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers going at it in the upcoming NBA Finals. Monster kicks things off this week with a bit of self-reflection. To make a long story short, he realizes that he's an unintentional flake but admits to being a work-in-progress. Oh the vulnerability! He also mentions the opening of the biggest Disney store in the world, which is located in Shanghai, China. The duo then discuss some of the TV shows they enjoy going off the air, either for the season or for good. We're talking David Letterman, Game of Thrones, Mad Men, Modern Family, etc. Monster gives his thoughts on Mortal Kombat X after having for over a week and the show is wrapped up with a reading of Maddox's movie review of, "Mad Max: Fury Road," with Wine giving her thoughts.
