Okay you got me. I’m glad I read Zombie Tramp #8 if only for the ending and what it sets up. This volume started off interesting, but then with the rotating art duties and Janey basically getting out of every situation the same way it made it a bit dull.

I was very surprised that I liked Joe Frankenstein #1. Just from the name it looked cheesy and hey part of it is, but its good cheese and it works. This book is literally for those people who always scream for simpler comics that they grew up reading, but the catch is that it works for modern readers as well.

I’ve seen a good amount of really positive reviews for this issue and I can’t hop on the hype train honestly. I really did enjoy the first issue, but for me this issue fell flat on the comedy and wasn’t all that intriguing story-wise.
