Etoilec1 Returns With Another DBZ Flipbook
This guy's filpbooks are getting better and better. This one features Bardock vs Frieza to enjoy, but you can check out his other six videos if this isn't enough.
Episode 142: I'm Honestly Bored By Everything
Hey CBMFP listeners it's that time again to delve into the world of comics and comic related things from ComicBastards.com. Last week was DC, this week it's Marvel as they take up the bulk of our news discussion.
Monster & Wine: Episode 3 - Feelin’ Nostalgic
Wine reflects on Germany's big win, while Monster reflects on scenes from his youth. Quality in programming is called into question while pondering if time travel will ever be a thing for us dreamers. Dream because you're fucked.
Review: Pure Entertainment
Not too long ago Nix Comics had a successful Kickstarter project; one of the comics that were funded was an anthology called Pure Entertainment.
Review: Vreckless Vrestlers #1
Vreckless Vrestlers is a fantastic indie comic. It is in a category all its own as it tells a story no one else has, in a way that few creators would be bold enough to attempt.
Review: Tether #1
What do you get when you take a little bit of Conan… well maybe a little bit of Red Sonja; mix it up with some elements of a futuristic Roman Empire, some genetic mad science, and some traditional revolutionary struggle.
Review: Avatar: The Last Airbender: The Rift – Part 2
You know, it never fails to amaze me. If I am flipping the dial watching TV and come across Avatar: The Last Airbender, I can't help myself but to stop and watch.
Review: Hellbillies #0
Here’s the thing about Hellbillies, if I had reviewed this book just after reading it then I would have scored it lower. The fact is, it’s not perfect, but it creates a world that is very enjoyable and entertaining.
Review: Caperbet!
Caperbet! is an entertaining story set in an entertaining world. In some ways it pokes fun at the cities that superheroes call home or really any fictional city in which the criminal element is constant.
Review: Manifest Destiny #8
This comic has been one that I really love sometimes and hate at other times. It has led me on a journey into the great unknown, dazzling me with interesting curiosities, incredible suspense, and foreboding danger.
Review: Pale Dark #2
Several months ago, I had an opportunity to review Pale Dark #1. It's a sci fi/weird science yarn set on the backdrop of a space station and filled with the likes of Gestapo style prison guards/interrogators;
Review: Judge Dredd #21
Last week, the bold and hot story arc "The American Way of Death" had its wrap up issue... and to say that it was disappointing would have been an understatement.
Review: Mood Indigo
To say that I’ve been looking forward to watching this film is an understatement. I instantly fell in love with the trailer and all of its quirkiness, its lead characters and the idea of a love story taking place in this strange and magical setting.
Crazy Amount of Custom Marvel Lego Figures
Here's the deal. I'm posting some of the pictures in addition to a gallery containing them all. The reason being is that there are 126 pictures in total.
Watch This Terrible Shredder Animated Short
I"m not kidding, it's terrible. Like really bad, but it's so dumb that you need to watch it.
The New "Normal" - An Interview With Otis Frampton
Otis Frampton is bringing something new to Image Comics this September: an all-ages book. Oddly Normal, coming this September, is the tale of a witch’s coming of age, and it’s a book that all of us here at Comic Bastards are really psyched for. Comic Bastard and man about town Nick Philpott sat down with Otis last week to talk comics, monsters, witches, and all things nice.
Review: Unity #9
I’m going to help a lot of new Valiant readers out for a moment. Unity isn’t an event book. It had a large storyline kick off at the beginning of the series and then it laid the foundation for Rai to come around and now it is crossing over with Armor Hunters which is an event book, but Unity is not.
Review: Borderlands – The Fall of Fyrestone #1
I, like a lot of video game players, enjoy the hell out of the Borderlands video game franchise. The first two games are very enjoyable and made the grind for loot fun. With that I can also say that I enjoy the acting and story for the games as well. I’m a fan of the franchise and of the culture that’s sprung up around the franchise.
Review: Witchfinder – The Mysteries of Unland #2
My first introduction to Witchfinder was a good one. It’s always interesting to see how expansive the Mignolaverse is. Witchfinder is a welcomed element due to the fact that Sir Edward Grey is very different from the other characters in the Universe. Personally I’m still getting the feel for his character, but I enjoy his interactions with other characters. Polite, but rude is the best way to describe him.
