Not too long ago Nix Comics had a successful Kickstarter project; one of the comics that were funded was an anthology called Pure Entertainment.

Vreckless Vrestlers is a fantastic indie comic. It is in a category all its own as it tells a story no one else has, in a way that few creators would be bold enough to attempt.

Here’s the thing about Hellbillies, if I had reviewed this book just after reading it then I would have scored it lower. The fact is, it’s not perfect, but it creates a world that is very enjoyable and entertaining.

Caperbet! is an entertaining story set in an entertaining world. In some ways it pokes fun at the cities that superheroes call home or really any fictional city in which the criminal element is constant.

I’m going to help a lot of new Valiant readers out for a moment. Unity isn’t an event book. It had a large storyline kick off at the beginning of the series and then it laid the foundation for Rai to come around and now it is crossing over with Armor Hunters which is an event book, but Unity is not.

I, like a lot of video game players, enjoy the hell out of the Borderlands video game franchise. The first two games are very enjoyable and made the grind for loot fun. With that I can also say that I enjoy the acting and story for the games as well. I’m a fan of the franchise and of the culture that’s sprung up around the franchise.

My first introduction to Witchfinder was a good one. It’s always interesting to see how expansive the Mignolaverse is. Witchfinder is a welcomed element due to the fact that Sir Edward Grey is very different from the other characters in the Universe. Personally I’m still getting the feel for his character, but I enjoy his interactions with other characters. Polite, but rude is the best way to describe him.
