Review: Amala’s Blade #3 (of 4)
If there’s one series that you can count on this week to be entertaining, heart-warming and just an overall blast to read, it’s Amala’s Blade.
Review: Fatale #15
I think I have to give this issue a 5 simply because it deserves probably every issue. The whole series is just insane. They were just going to have this comic be a mini-series but the fans loved it so much that it got turned into an ongoing comic. I thank God every day that they decided this.
Review: Godzilla: Rulers of Earth #1
Throwing off continuity AGAIN, IDW presents another Godzilla series. So far only Half Century War caught my attention and finished a coherent storyline. But I will not be prejudiced with this comic. I love Godzilla almost as my as I irrationally fear oven mitts.
Here’s the Full Set of The Wolverine Ink Posters
We’d already seen the Silver Samurai, Wolverine and Jean Grey posters, but here’s the rest!
Something About WWE 2K14 Sounds Right... Rock's On The Cover!
I don’t play wrestling video game, I've just never got into them and frankly THQ was never going to win me over. With 2K on deck… I’m interested. Granted I've heard that a lot of the old team was picked up to work on this game, but still… it’s 2K and they’re not one to sit back and hope for the best.
SDCC '13: 2000 AD's Exclusives Are Very Cool!
Why is 2000 AD the only comic book company smart enough to sell a poster of a cover that's well received by the comic community? That's the Dredd sequel poster by Henry Flint and their selling it exclusively at the show for ten bucks.
SDCC '13: You Better Make Your First Stop The Petco Booth
Originally I was going to call anyone that got one of these an asshole, but then I realized that if I had a dog... I would make them wear this all the time. I mean like animal services are taking my Yoda dog away becuase I never remove it.
SDCC '13/Do Want: Piccolo Special Color Edition
You thought we were done with Dragon Ball Z? I don't think so! This Piccolo special color edition is also coming from Blue Fin at this years SDCC. They have two sub listings which is weird, but whatever! There's more pictures after the jump.
SDCC '13/Do Want: Dragon Ballz Scouters
Blue Fin Distribution, which is the North American partner for several Japanese companies, will be selling Dragon Ball Z Scouter headsets at SDCC this year. I'm actually sad that I'm not going now since I would go just to purchase this. They're only $25 bucks which is pretty sweet, but I wonder how quickly it will sell out.
Poster Time: Police Story 2013 Is Gritty!
There's nothing about a North American release, but this might be one to import on DVD when it becomes available. According to Twitch it's not following the story line of the previous installments of Police Story.
Eve Beauregard Returns As Lady Nightwing
Eve Beauragard is back and this time she's Lady Nightwing. The costume is pretty cool, but I don't think this photo shoot does it justice. What do you think? And of course there are more photos after the jump! Also are you a cosplayer and want to be featured on Comic Bastards? Let us know and we'll feature you.
The Spandex Retrospective: The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003)
As a critic, I like to keep my eye out for positive qualities in films I am actively disliking. Trying to eke out upsides to drek keeps the mind active when it'd rather give up from all the abuse Hollywood punishes it with.
