Bruce Wayne Gets His "Three S's" On In The New Justice League Dark Clip

By Dustin Cabeal

Uh... why are we watching Batman shave? How is this interesting? It didn't convince me to plop down my hard earned money for this film, that's for sure. Also, "Three S's" refers to shit, shower and shave! You probably learned more with that than the clip.

Review: Love Addict: Confessions of a Serial Dater

By Sarah Miller

As somewhat of a serial dater myself, I was very excited to read Love Addict: Confessions of a Serial Dater. I was looking for some insights into the various experiences I’ve had, and I was also looking forward to reading about the different affairs that someone else has had. I’m a fan of both slice-of-life and memoir comics, and I was hoping for a little something of both with this work. I certainly found those things, but I also found a comic rife with clichés and stories that I have already heard before, that have been told in so many ways they have entered the public consciousness. I found judgement and a lack of true introspection that might have turned that judgement around and led our narrator to some kind of real awakening instead of the half-hearted “maybe this is bad for me” that we get at the end of the book. There is no concern at all for the women that he has been dating; they all merely serve as some kind of reflection of what the narrator is going through.

Review: Little Witch Academia E.01

By Robert Ramos

When I found there was going to be a TV series of Little Witch Academia, I got fairly excited. I was pretty pleased with how the “movie” version turned out, even if was only 30 minutes and left a lot of openness. So does this TV adaptation hold true? Let’s find out, shall we!

Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu: Sukeroku Futatabi-hen E.02

By Shanel Kamara

This show is one that I will definitely not tire of watching. The explanation of how certain characters connect to the protagonists and their role in the preservation and development of rakugo is sound. I thought how minor character, Higuchi Eisuke from season one, who Yakumo - in his younger years - briefly encountered while on tour with his master, reappeared this season as a supporting character, was brilliant.

Image Reveals More Anniversary Covers

By Dustin Cabeal

Yeah I'm still not big on this idea. I mean the covers are fun and all, but it seems hypocritical for a publisher that's denounced the practice of variant covers to then celebrate it's anniversary with variant covers. Granted the industry doesn't seem to be able to come up with any other way to celebrate their anniversaries, but then also why the fuck do we need to celebrate it either?

Seven Seas Licenses Record of Lodoss War: The Grey Witch Novel

By Dustin Cabeal

Damn, I haven't thought about Record of Lodoss War in forever! I loved the name which has been copied hundreds of times since, but I never really fell in love with this franchise. It was just one of the few that made it to the States during a time we were just happy to get anything.
