Shannon Wheeler Presents SH*T MY PRESIDENT SAYS: The Illustrated Tweets of Donald J. Trump
By Dustin Cabeal
I'll support it. I mean I hate to support anything with Trumpy's name on it, but I like supporting anything with Shannon Wheeler's name on it. I also expect several volumes of this unless we get lucky and Trumpy gets impeached. Anyway, if it's half as good as Wheeler's rejected New Yorker strips, then we're all in for a treat.
Gail Simone and Cat Staggs Launch All-New Series CROSSWIND
By Dustin Cabeal
I really have no comment on this comic, but in reading the press release I noticed that Image is officially in Portland... which feels weird. Like 70% of my emails now come from Portland it feels like. Oh and I will likely read this series... at least the first issue. I'm not big on Simone's writing as she's very hit or miss with me.

Got $80 Bucks For Weird Face Wolverine?
By Dustin Cabeal
Originally I was just going to point out the weird pants and make some Logan jokes and call it a day, but then I saw his weird Voldermort/every eyeless freak from a horror movie, face. Seriously, is Wolverine supposed to be the stuff of nightmares? $80 bucks for Nightmare Wolverine with his kissable lips of death.
Unboxing: Loot Crate - March 2017
By Dustin Cabeal
Well, it's March... so that means it's Loot Crate time. The theme is "primal, " and it pretty much sucks. There's usually like one good thing, but I couldn't find it in this batch. The shirt is just a shirt to me so... maybe next month. They can't all be winners and shit. Also if you thumbs down this, then you don't get my humor, and that's okay. Just know that I'll just keep making them longer out of spite.
Review: Deathstroke #15
By Dustin Cabeal
I know, I know… I said I wouldn’t be back to review this issue, that I was just going to enjoy the series and not force myself to review it every time. Then Priest went and added Power Girl. A character so underutilized in DC that until this issue I couldn’t name two books she’s been in before now. I may end up picking up Teen Titans if she’s in that, but I will be harshly comparing the characterization.
Review: Loose Ends #3
By Daniel Vlasaty
If you’ve read any of my other reviews you know that I’ve been really enjoying Loose Ends. You also know that I’ve got a soft spot for drugs and junkie stories, and more importantly crime fiction. And this book checks off both of those categories. Loose Ends is billed as a Southern Crime Romance, and luckily for me the crime part of that tag line is the thing that sticks out most. Not that I have anything against romance, really, I’d just rather read some hard-boiled crime shit.
Review: DollFace #3
By Dustin Cabeal
I’ll say this; I’m glad we know what happened to Ivan. That is to say; we learn what happened to Ivan’s body in this issue as our trio continue telling their story to Janey Belle aka Zombie Tramp. I’ll be honest; I don’t remember why they’re working together anymore. I know it’s about the book… but it escapes me as to why.
Review: Underwinter #1
By Jonathan Edwards
I'm not much of a musically inclined person. I mean, I like music, singing for fun, and all that, but any proper musical education and proficiency both began and ended with learning recorder, xylophone, and ocarina in grade school. And yes, those were all mandatory lessons that I have since forgotten. Underwinter is a music-centric horror comic. Although, from the inverted pentagram overlaying the guy on the cover, I figured it would also contain some demon shenanigans, knowing about which tends to be one of my fortes. So, here I am reviewing it.
