Review: Weekly Shonen Jump no. 17
By Dustin Cabeal
Last week was busy, so I never got around to reviewing last week’s issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. To be honest, other than the new Jump Start series Robot x Laserbeam, there wasn’t much to talk about in a review. I did make the terrible decision to catch up on One-Punch Man, but will likely continue to review the trades since I find the pacing to be much better. Eventually, I’ll catch up with Black Clover as well since I enjoy the series and need something else to review when I do this. Anyway, from the top!
Review: Prison School vol. 6
By Dustin Cabeal
I lost track of how many times I stopped to laugh while reading Prison School vol. 6. It was somewhere after ten or eleven I know that much. There were subsequent pages that made me laugh; there were long con gags that made me laugh. Overall, there was a new level of humor added to the series with this volume.
Review: Marginal #4: Kiss Kara Tsukuru Big Bang E.02
By Shanel Kamara
I knew what I was gearing myself up for when I decided to watch this; I mean firstly it falls under the shoujo/music category, secondly the overall plot follows the activities of a male idol group, and thirdly the anime is of one of Rejet's and Idea Factory's otome titles (no discredit to Rejet and Idea Factory's work).
Unboxing: Loot Wear - February 2017
By Dustin Cabeal
That's right, two in one day! Here's February's Loot Wear and yes I know it's March... see the part where I said I just got it and the January one on the same day. I didn't get the Power Rangers jogger pants, but I'm not an MMPR fan, so it's no love loss. I was curious about their comfort level, but oh well. Also, if you want to see the full reaction to this unboxing watch this week's Comic Bastards Podcast... it's explained on there.
Unboxing: Loot Wear - January 2017
By Dustin Cabeal
Well, I finally fucking got it! I don't know what the hold up was, possibly the Dungeon and Dragons hoodie I didn't get, but hey... no wait that sounds great. Oh well, the rest is pretty baller too. I'm a huge fan of the Loot Wears so I'll take'em when I can. Check it out and check out this week's podcast to see an explanation of the weirdness of this one and why it's all rushed. Back to normal next time.

006 - I'm going to be upfront and tell you that if you don't like kids on podcasts, then you're going to hate this episode. Be it that Steve and I both have kids, it was bound to happen, so consider yourself forewarned. As for the actual meat of the podcast, we talk about Mt. Dew... then the Justice League trailer that premiered. Iron Fist is discussed slightly, but only the first two episodes. A special treat is a new segment called "Askhole with the Bastards" in which lightning round questions are shot off. We'll be getting your Askhole questions in the future if you like this segment. Lastly, an impromptu unboxing of two Loot Wears packages... it's nuck and futs folks, stay with us, stay with us.
Review: Iron Fist E.02 – “Shadow Hawk Takes Flight”
By Dustin Cabeal
Dental records? Anyone, anyone… dental records? I mean we’re basing this in the modern era, and you’re telling me that no one’s first thought is to see if the rich kid has dental records still? Fuck me this show is stupid. It’s not just the dental records, but the fact that it’s now wasted two episodes establishing if Danny is really Danny.
Unite The League... Fight Water... Or Something
By Dustin Cabeal
Well, you obviously didn't come here to see the buttfuck teasers that the WB is releasing in prep for the actual Justice League trailer they're unveiling on Saturday (God I hope it's during the podcast, so I don't have to talk about it). They released two teasers, and it's clear that Zack Snyder loves the green screen and doesn't want any of this to look real, but rather like the bastard shit of hisWatchmen film.
