Review: Binary Gray #8
Binary Gray returns and I have to say that this issue is a bit different from the previous issues. It definitely feel as if a major storyline ends here and that left me wondering what was planned for the ninth issue?
Review: The Last Broadcast #4
I never would have imagined that The Last Broadcast was a series that people either love or hate.
Review: Savage Dragon #197
Question: What is tougher than fighting with Malcolm Dragon who is virtually invincible?
Review: Eye of Newt #3
To think I nearly didn’t pick up Eye of Newt in the beginning. I tell ya, I’m glad that I did. This series has been very entertaining and one of the first stories in a while that’s left me with a real sense of danger.
Review: Stray Bullets: Killers #6
After last month’s Stray Bullets: Killers interlude into an Amy Racecar’d-up version of the events in this first story arc, we’re back in the “real” world with Virginia Applejack and Eli, and things are starting to get pretty heavy.
Review: Adventure Time # 31
Adventure Time #31 opens up to a fun-filled day with PB and Marceline and you're like "oh wow so much friendship and puns".
Jessica Alba Has Four Action Figures of Herself... Your Life Has No Meaning
Really I could care less about what Jessica Alba thinks of her action figures. I don't dislike her, but I've yet to see her grow as an actress so she's really just a pretty face.
My Pull List - Adam Kelly (8/20/14)
Welcome to My Pull List! This week we take a look at what writer Adam Kelly has on his pull list.
D&D Fifth Edition Player's Handbook Out Today
You may recall the big reveal at this past weekend's Gen Con in which Wizard's of the Coast rolled out the fifth edition of the Dungeons and Dragons handbook and other materials.
Check Out Some of This "The Evil Within" Gameplay
I love survival horror video games. Well starch that, I love survival horror video games that don't suck. So I have had my eye on the up coming Bethesda title, "The Evil Within". But there where just so many questions that I had about the overall experience that the game would provide. Thankfully this hour play through with Pete Hines answers a lot of them.
Doctor Who Fan Fiction Read by a British Actor
Jason Inman is back with a video just in time for the Doctor Who premiere!
Gen Con 2014: Report #2 Board Games A-Go-Go
I spent most of Friday at Gen Con 2014 searching for vintage Citadel Miniatures from the late 1980s and early 90s. This was the era that I really got into collecting and painting war game miniatures. I spent some time in the auction room and was disappointed but not really surprised to lose bidding for a box of plastic Citadel Space Dwarves minis.
Review: Crap Shoot #3
I lied to Jason Walz. I told him I was never too busy for him and then I got too busy. I should have had this review done a while ago, but that’s neither here nor there now it is.
Review: Myth #1-3
The creators of Myth create a wonderful world that blends storybook fantasy, with comic book fantasy for something that is appealing to both children and adults. It manages to tackle subjects like child abuse and death, while still leaving the reader with hope.
Review: Killer of Men
At first glance Killer of Men is a little bit like any reformed killer, turned into vigilante hit man killer type story. Yeah I know that doesn’t make a lot of sense, but the point is it’s a hit man story. Don’t get me wrong, it does the genre very well. The creators understand the genre and find a formula to use that works for the story.
Review: The Legend of Harapan: Origin
I liked The Legend of Harapan: Origin, but I was left wishing I knew a bit more about the world I had just experienced. In a way it serves as a zero issue for the series and so I didn’t expect all of the answers to be given to me, but there were almost too many questions.
Review: Kodoja – Terror Mountain Showdown #1-5
Kodoja is a Kaiju story. It’s very much in the vein of the Godzilla franchise and even takes a few beats/plot points from it.
Review: Moonlighters #1
Moonlighters is a world filled with werewolves, vampires and of course humans.
Review: Awful Lot
Awful Lot collects the webcomic of the same name from Jon O’Briant. All of the characters are animals, but I’m not quite sure I would classify them as anthropomorphic.
