Trailer Time: The Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age Smackdown
Well if you were hoping to see anything from this clip of Flintstones & WWE: Stone Age Smackdown just don't... it's literally just Fred cutting the shittiest promo ever and then a terrible Vince McMahon joke. It's probably the best acting of John Cena's career though since he doesn't say anything.

Double Review: Stars and Swipes/Hugs and Misses
As I tend to do I sat on this review for a bit too long. The reason for a double review is because Wilhelm Staehle’s Hugs and Misses & Stars and Swipes are essentially the same thing with different subject matters.

Review: Plunder #1 (Archaia/BOOM!)
Plunder came to me because I wanted to read a horror comic not written by Robert Kirkman. I’m also always was intrigued by the idea of reading a comic about non-white Americans because I feel that it’s only ever a good thing when the medium expands beyond that narrow demographic.

Review: Agent Carter 1.7 - SNAFU
This episode had me going for a bit. Based on the preview trailer I figured that we were going to have a bottle episode. Maybe some interrogating then a recap of the season so far and then a look into Peggy Carter’s past and then Peggy Carter psychologically disassembling her fellow agents before making a sly escape.

Review: The Flash 1.14 - Fallout
Two moments make this episode for me. Two moments turn this from the status quo below average and raise it up from the, lately, standard two all the way up to that coveted “3 out of 5” position. Oops, score spoilers. Also spoiler spoilers.

Review: Ivar, Timewalker #2
Ivar, Timewalker #1 was awesome, earning itself a rare 5/5 rating from me and leaving me with high expectations for this second installment – expectations which I’m happy to say have not been let down!

Review: The Twilight Zone #12
Well that’s a wrap people. The Twilight Zone #12 closes out Dynamite's first year of the series. I won’t be saying much about this issue, but I did want to say something having started it from the beginning and now seeing it through to the end. If you were curious if all three stories were really that intertwined… well they are.

Review: The Strain: The Night Eternal #6
Fresh off “The Miracle” of Issue #5, #6 takes charge and does not look back. After a slower start to this much darker third book of Gullermo Del Toro and Chuck Hogan’s dark trilogy, Issue #6 continues the “kick” begun in Issue #5 as things are starting to line together. It might be time to strap in because it is going to be a bumpy ride. Or at least a fast moving one.

Review: Unity #15
If this issue doesn’t make you want to read the solo Ninjak series, like yesterday, then nothing will. If you can’t tell, this issue follows Ninjak and only Ninjak. And it’s fucking incredible because of that. Seriously, I’m beyond ready for his solo series from Matt Kindt. I would give blood in order to read that issue right now.

Review: Sleepy Hollow 2.17 - Awakening
Henry’s back and up to no good, and this time he’s got Katrina on his side. There was that ominous thorn-pricking moment where it looked as though she’d unknowingly signed a blood pact- like Frank- but at the end of the episode it still seemed that Katrina acted of her own free will. Which I’m really excited about. I’ve been championing for evil Katrina since day one.
