DollFace is Action Lab's Most Successful Series Launch
By Dustin Cabeal
I'm not too surprised. Danger Zone, an imprint of Action Lab, has shown that you can do cheesecake in comics still as long as you actually have a story that's not just boobs on the page. I actually just got my Kickstarter copy of this issue and it looks great. I'm going to crack it open after this post and you can beat on an early review.

Black Clover FINALLY Getting The Anime Treatment
By Robert Ramos
You read that right, guys. Yuki Tabata's Black Clover will be getting it's long awaited anime series.

Trailer Time: Gintama - Live Action
By Robert Ramos
OH.MY.GOD. This was quite possibly the best news to wake up to this morning in what has been a pretty shitty month. I don't care if it ends up sucking, I will still watch the hell out of this movie.

Live Action Tokyo Ghoul Reveals First Image
By Dustin Cabeal
I have seen cosplay masks way better than that mask. Hell, I’ve seen bad cosplay better than that mask. Double hell, I have seen masks for sale that are better than the one shown on that poster. All of this is to say that I’m not very excited about Tokyo Ghoul getting a live action adaptation.

Hulk Continues To Make Everything Great
In case you missed it, Vin Diesel, who voices Groot in Guardians Of The Galaxy, recently suggested that Marvel's two greatest green heroes will be facing off in the relatively near future. Specifically, Slashfilm quoted Diesel as saying "you are going to see Groot and Hulk battle." Presumably this will happen in Infinity War, and Diesel seems pretty sure about himself, even going so far as to add, "you are going to see that poster: Hulk vs. Groot."

Let's Take A Moment To Appreciate This Nut Shot To Archie
By Dustin Cabeal
By no means am I saying that this cover is "good art" or even "classic", but can we take a moment to just appreciate the fact that something like this is still being made? Let's face it, we all love bad comic art as much as we love good comic art and a few artists have even made their fucking entire career off of bad art. Not that this is bad per se, but Archie is completely stiff and flying nuts first into a tree and somehow he doesn't have to bend his legs or move his hips to do this. And yet it's pretty amazing. It makes me want to see Archie take a tree shot to the nuts and then the rest of the issue they're just in the ER and suddenly it gets heavy as Archie might loose his balls and never have little Archie's running around with Strawberry blonde hair. Yeah, that's right, I got deep and picked a side.

Second Season of Kekkai Sensen Slated for 2017
By Robert Ramos
Looks like 2017 is going to be a hell of a year for sequels. One-Punch Man, Code Geass, Attack on Titan (GROSS), and even Gintama are all getting new seasons. Added to that bunch is Kekkai Sensen, or Blood Blockade Battlefront as most of you might know it as. Along with the new name of Kekkai Sensen & BEYOND, the show will also be getting a new director as well as a new person in charge of the script.

New Gintama Series to Premiere on January 8
By Robert Ramos
It's about fucking time! The most recent series ended in March and it's been a sad, sad time without any new Gintama in my life.

Review: Mobile Police Patlabor Reboot
By Robert Ramos
Dustin and I once had a brief discussion on the actual pronunciation of "Patlabor." Of course, I was ridiculed for how I knew it was pronounced but that didn't stop me from trying to prove him wrong. Well, thanks to this seven minute reboot, I can prove that I am in fact correct. Glorious.

Spirited Away Could Be Coming To A Theater Near You!
By Robert Ramos
So...I'm probably going to get so much shit by people on this site and off, but I do not care for Hayao Miyazaki or any of the film's he's directed. Just never been a fan of the character designs or story concepts from his movies, regardless of the rich storytelling they may provide. Whatever. If you're a fan of either Miyazaki or Spirited Away, and if it's available in your area, you should definitely check this out! Dubbed to be shown on December 4 while subbed on December 5.

Trailer Time: Legend from Z2 Comics
By Dustin Cabeal
Hey the trailer for Legend is out because tomorrow the trade is out. I plan on reading it at some point since I'm reading as many trades and OGN's before I do my end of the year list. At the very least, trailers are fun and easy to watch so do that!

Love, Justice, and Safe Sex
By Robert Ramos
Naoko Takeuchi, creator of Sailor Moon, and Japan's Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare have partnered to help promote the detection and preventions of STIs.

Support Star Bastard, Get The Comic Bastards Variant Cover
By Dustin Cabeal
That's right Bastards! We got bastards left, right and center. We're the "Comic" Bastards and we're supporting "Star" Bastards which is an indie comic I previously reviewed and talked about on the CBMFP. I had a minor issue with the first issue, but after my review creator Andrew Clemson took it to heart and made a change that I think made the book better.

Warren Ellis Reveals Jon Davis-Hunt's The Wild Storm Art
By Dustin Cabeal
If you're into comics and you like Warren Ellis, then you probably already subscribe to http://orbitaloperations.com/ which is his weekly newsletter. If you don't, then you missed the gem below. He also cleared up the DC's imprint WildStorm is actually called "The Wild Storm." I actually found that to be just as interesting as the artwork by Jon Davis-Hunt. Also, fuck, that art is great!

Let's Take A Look At Supergirl: Being Super #1
By Dustin Cabeal
I don't really like posting previews anymore. None of you look at them, but occasionally one will grab my attention. This one is because of the art by Joëlle Jones and the story by Mariko Tamaki. In that order because I looked at the art first. The title is strange. I can't decide if I love it or hate it, but I'm leaning towards love. Anyway, read the preview, don't, I don't care. I'll be checking out this series.

"I Have A Butler" Let's Watch The Justice League Dark Trailer
By Dustin Cabeal
Thanks to the success of The Killing Joke animated movie, DC/WB Animation has gone for another rated R animation, but this time it's using that weird fucking Justice League they created around the New 52. You know the one with Wonder Woman in the actually cool fucking costume, but sucked because she ate ice cream like an asshole.

IDW Announces Highlander Prequel Comic
By Dustin Cabeal
If you've listened to the CBMFP over the years you may have picked up on the fact that I'm a big Highlander fan. Aside from watching all of the movies, and I do mean all of the movies, I also watched that really shitty cartoon they did... also an animated movie. Maybe those are the same thing, if they're not I've seen them both! Point is, I should be a little excited by this because I've willing sat through a lot of bad Highlander shit, is a comic cashing in on that really that bad? But it's IDW... which kills any excitement, but even worse than that they're calling it a prequel to the movie which is just stupid.

Trailer Time: Fullmetal Alchemist - Live-Action
By Robert Ramos
Well, what do we have here? This trailer of the live-action adaption of Fullmetal Alchemist is news to me so I figured I'd share it with you guys. I think it looks great and I'll definitely check it out whenever the opportunity presents itself. And hey, no use of a shitty cover song here (looking at you, Ghost in the Shell).

We Need To Talk... Big Trouble/Escape From NY Takes The Top Spot In October
By Dustin Cabeal
Hey, there kiddos. Yeah, come on in and sit down, we need to talk. First, you're probably wondering if your mom and I are getting a divorce and the answer is yes. You see, I've loved your mom since I was a little kid. I remember her fondly in the pages of Spider-Man and Captain America. Later that love grew into X-Men and Batman. I grew up some, and we saw each other less and less.
