Review: Munchkin #2
Munchkin #2 is out this week and I wanted to give this book second chance since I am a big fan of the card game that this book is based. While it is nice to have a Munchkin series, the first issue was a bit of a disappointment for a lead issue.

Review: Mouse Guard - Legends of the Guard Vol. 3 #1
Wow! I can’t believe that it’s already been ten years since Mouse Guard started!! Mouse Guard creator, David Petersen, introduced us to a wonderful adventure of three lovable and courageous mice. This year, to celebrate the property’s tenth anniversary, BOOM! is releasing the third volume of their hit Mouse Guard mini-series “Legends of the Guard."

Review: Flash Gordon #8
Flash Gordon #8 looked like the end to the story arc. Everyone is back home and treated like heroes. For all the crew it seemed that the notoriety and success was coming their way. Each member was given a special position in government and they were treated like heroes for coming back to earth. It all seemed to be great and coming to a nice close.
Review: Munchkin #1
When I first read the news of BOOM! Studios having obtained the rights to do a Munchkin comic I was very excited for the franchise. From the first time I started playing this very popular game I could tell that this game had the potential to be a comic book. From the wacky minions you face and the hilarious named gear you obtain after killing a monster; the game felt like a comic.
Review: Randal’s Monday (PC)
Randal’s Monay is a game published by Daedalic Entertainment and developed by Nexus game studios. The game is a point and click adventure game where you take control of Randal Graves. Yes, the same Randal Graves from Clerks fame. The game takes you into a bar where Randal is celebrating his friend Matt bachelor’s party. During their celebration, Matt entrusts Randal with the wedding ring that he will give his fiancée. Randal asked Matt about the ring and Matt confesses that he got the ring for cheap from a crazy hermit who warns him that the ring is cursed. Matt disregards the warning and still buys the ring. Randal agrees to keep the ring until the wedding and the celebration continues. After a night of drinking Randal wakes up but gets a creepy feeling from the ring and adventure ensues from there.
Review: Conan/Red Sonja #1
Conan and Red Sonja, a dynamic duo of coolness is the first thing that came to my mind when I saw the cover for this book. With a duo like this you would think that the story would be epic. However, epic is not the way I would describe this book.
Review: Robocop #7
Issue seven continues on the main story and this time Robocop is filled with a slew in improvements. The issues starts off with Killian’s thugs attacking a van in which they were told had OCP inventory that they could steal for their group. The thugs successfully take down the van, but when they open up the van out comes Robocop kicking one of the thugs and his head popping up like a football being punted in the air.
Video Game Wish List (Xbox One)
It’s a new year, and it’s time for the anticipation to begin for all of this year’s next gen console video game releases. Recently I have upgraded my Xbox 360 to an Xbox One, and during that time I got familiar with some of the games that became popular for the system in 2014. Now, I am looking ahead and waiting with full anticipation for this year crop of games. The list I composed is mainly games I will get on day one. I am sure as the year continues there will be other games added to this list, but I thought it be best to start with a small list and build from there. Here are my five most anticipated games for Xbox One in 2015.
Review: I Am Santa Claus
Remember Mick Foley? Hardcore legend wrestler, WWE Hall of Famer, New York Times Best-Selling Author, Actor, and now you can add producer to his belt. The hardcore legend produced and stars in the new documentary I am Santa Claus.
Review: Sonic Boom #1
Sonic Boom number one is a brand new series from Archie Comics that team up Sonic the Hedgehog with all his friends from the TV show and the video games. In this new series, the story takes places in Tropical Island and we are introduce to the team via a fight with Dr. Eggman. The book quickly introduces you to each character and it gives you a quick character moment and what they do.
Review: Flash Gordon # 6
In this installment of Flash Gordon, Flash and the crew are in Skyworld. Flash and Zarkov have been captured by a group of female flyers known as the Skyrens. These female flyers consume precious metal and they only have girl babies. Every so often the Skyrens lure men to their island by using an enchanting song that only men can hear.
Review: Rat Queens #8
Rat Queens is such a fun series. Every time I get an issue of the Rat Queens I just devour that book and then in a few minutes after I am done I am left wanting more issues.
Review: Archer & Armstrong #24
Archer & Armstrong is one of those books that when it comes out every month I am all in and pick it up right away to read. Aside from the great story telling that this run has established, one of the areas that I really like is the character development that is done in this series.
Review: Usagi Yojimbo – Senso #2
In the second part of Usagi Yojimbo - Senso things are picking up rather fast in this book and the big reveal from the last issue was that there seems to be some sort of egg or ship that has landed right in the middle of the battlefield that both clans were fighting in.
Review: Usagi Yojimbo – Senso #1
Usagi Yojimbo - Senso takes place 20 years in the future where Usagi isn’t a mercenary for hire. He now is fighting for Lord Noriyuki as one of his General for the Geishu Clan. The story begins in a huge battle between the two clans and Lord Noriyuki clans seem to be losing the battle against Lord Hikiji.
